Kindergarten Orientation
Marlinton Elementary School:
Thursday August 11 from 6 to 7 pm in the school cafeteria.
If your child has not registered for kindergarten, please go to the school office before the orientation to fill out the necessary paperwork and confirm vaccination records.
The office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Marlinton Elementary Kindergarten Schedule
Monday and Tuesday, August 15 and 16 – 7:45 a.m. to noon.
Parents will need to bring their child to the school and pick them up at their classroom at noon.
Wednesday August 17 – First full day of kindergarten.
Hillsboro and Green Bank Elementary Kindergarten Schedule
Monday, August 15 – Due to the expected high temperatures, students will attend school a half-day as part of the inclement weather policy. They may ride the bus to and from school.
Tuesday, August 16 – Students begin full-day attendance.
